The Wide Open Forum passed away suddenly 7:30 AM December 13th at the
age of 36. The Wide Open Forum lived a fast lifestyle wide open all the
time. It was best known for controversial topics of discussion and
making friends and enemies alike in the same thread. The Wide Open Forum
will be missed by many. WestCoastKarters.com caught up with Chris Scribner, host of the Wide Open Forum since its inception. Although Chris was affected heavily by the passing of the Wide Open Forum, he sounded very optimistic moving forward, “The Original Wide Open Forum was a big part of the success Scribner Racing Promotions and the Promotion of Kart Racing on the West Coast and Kristin and I will never forget that. It will always have a place in our hearts and memories as I’m sure it will with all the Karting enthusiasts that have enjoyed the Forum, however we have a new young and energetic Forum in its final stages getting ready to debut soon, and we believe the Karters on the West Coast will enjoy what the new Forum has to offer. “ In the meantime Karters are urged to see the NorcalKarters.com forum, and they can read through the pages of the old Wide Open Forum. |
