Rules: See the PKC/SKUSA rulebook, as well as rules specific to this event, on the website.

Air Boxes & Mufflers: Air boxes are required for all moto engines -- up to three (3) 29mm +- 1 mm tubes. All moto motors must also have a 14-inch RLV or M4 muffler.

SKUSA Membership: ProKart Challenge requires all racers to have a current SKUSA membership with their first race of the season. SKUSA also has new license levels that all drivers must register for. Purchase or renew your SKUSA membership thru the PKC online store, download and fax in your form, or sign up at the Registration desk on Friday or Saturday morning. Cost is $75/year, offers many great benefits, and is good for a full 12 months from date of purchase.

Race Numbers and Colored Number Panels: With your SKUSA membership, you will be assigned a race number (with a letter designating your region) that must appear on all 4 sides of your kart for all competition sessions -- for the season. PKC is also mandating specific number plate color combinations by class, starting with your first race of the season. Click here for more info. Call PKC at 951-491-0808 to reserve or check availability of your desired race number.

Overnight Camping & Trailer Parking: Is available at no charge, but will be available Friday night only, unless you have made special arrangements with the track (i.e., staying Saturday night for Sunday practice). Pit spots will be assigned by the Paddock Marshal. Some up front spots may be reserved for large teams, kart shops or sponsors by calling PKC at 951-491-0808 prior to Wednesday, March 10th.

Host Hotel: If you are in need of a hotel room for this event, PKC has again made room block and special pricing arrangements with the EconoLodge in Novato, just 11 minutes from the track. Call them today and mention ProKart Challenge for 10% off their already low room rates: 415-883-2406.

10-Day Weather Forecast: It's looking decent next weekend, but if that changes, don't forget about our Tough Guy Rain Bonus points -- it could make the difference in the championship! Click here for those details.

Live & Post-Race Event Coverage: Rob Howden from EKN will be on site for this event, announcing the live on-track action over the PA system. We will also be broadcasting the MyLaps Monitor AND micro-blogging the sessions as racers come off the track. After the event, a media release with this event's highlights will be distributed to the major karting publications, giving everyone the chance to become a local hero to their family and friends.

The next PKC So Cal race is at Grange Motor Circuit in Apple Valley on March 26-27. Details can be found here.

The Pro Tour SpringNationals will be April 16-18 at Infineon. The online shopping kart opens this Sunday, March 7th at Midnight! Click here for more details.
