The Stockton
Motorplex Park rules are in addition to the current IKF Rule
Book under the General, Sprint and Shifter Sprint categories.

No bikes or
scooters in the pits.
-
A current IKF
Rulebook must be in your pit at all times.
-
A fully charged
fire extinguisher must be in your pit .
-
A drip tray or
carpet square must be used in your pits.
-
At least one (1)
parent must be present for a minor to participate.

Please do not
send your minor child/children to register themselves into a
race/s, one or more parents must accompany them.
-
All dogs will be
on short leashes at all times. Owners of any dogs not on a
leash will be asked to remove their dog from the premises.

All lead weights
are required to be painted or taped white.

All drivers are
required to attend the drivers meeting. We will be doing random
roll calls at the beginning of the Drivers Meeting, those not
present will be penalized two (2) positions in the Main Event.
Please be Responsible and be on time!

Drivers will be
responsible for the actions of their pit crews and families.
Drivers will be disqualified if their pit crew or family members
are involved in any altercations.

A Race Directors
decision is final and may not be protested.

All racers and
their pit crews are responsible for cleaning up their pit spot
before leaving.

Reserved pit
squares are for race days and the previous day for set-up and
testing.
-
A birth
certificate (copy) of all minor racers will be required to be
left in the Registration Office.

All adult racers
must provide us with a copy of their driver’s license.
-
No Pit Crew or
Spectator will be permitted on the racing surface during a race.
If someone other then the racer enters the racing surface their
driver will be disqualified. The track staff and the Paramedics
will handle each red flag situation. In case of red flag
situation, one parent or spouse will be allowed on the track
only after the Race Director deems it is safe. One mechanic,
per kart, will be permitted to enter the race surface for red
flag restarts only.

Any unacceptable
gestures, yelling at any track official or track worker will
result in an immediate suspension from the track.

During a race,
if you kill your engine with the exception of Electric Start
Karts or get out of your seat you may “NOT” re-enter the race.
This is considered a DNF.

No scrubbing or
warming of tires on the track or grid area this includes Kid
Karts.

Number panels….
All karts will run White Panels/Black Numbers. Novice drivers
will run an Orange Rear Panel with a Black “X” for at least
three (3) races and will grid in the rear of all heats and
mains. Orange Panel must run for twelve (12) consecutive months

No entry fees
will be refunded once you have entered the track for a heat or
the main. If your kart breaks in practice, a race credit will
be given for the current race season.

You will be
entitled to one (1) throwaway race; this excludes any race in
which you were disqualified.

Three (3) karts
or more make up a class. If we run a race with less than (three)
3 karts, points will not be awarded towards the championship.

Stockton
Motorplex Park Members will have kart number priority
over non-members. Non-members will be asked to change their
numbers on race days. Members requesting the same kart number
in the same class will be decided by membership seniority.
